How much does each class cost?
Each class fee is based on the amount of credits. Each credit is $50. Our four credit classes are $200 and our three credit classes are $150.Does completing any of the programs lead to pastoral credentialing?
No. How long is each class?
Each Harvest School of Ministry class, regardless of credit hour, is eight weeks long.Are classes available in person?
No, we no longer offer any in person classes at Harvest School of Ministry. The internship will be the only on site program.Is there an age requirement for taking classes?
Yes. Students must be at least 18 years of age.Will there be any in person requirement for the online classes?
No. All lectures are pre-recorded and will be released week by week.Can I take more than one class at a time?
Currently, we are offering one class at a time. This may change in the future. How much time do I need to dedicate to each class per week?
A four credit class will have a maximum of 12 hours of lecture content for the duration of the eight week class. A three credit class will have a maximum of eight hours of lecture content. Assignments/quizzes will be determined by individual instructor.Internship FAQs
What is the length of the internship program?
All internships are three months long, running from October-December, February-April and June-August.
I’m married. Am I still eligible?
Absolutely!
Will I be on my own?
Each intern will be paired with the Director of the specific ministry that they are interning. As an intern, you will serve as part of your Director’s team. This may include working alongside other interns in the same track as you.
Where will I live?
Harvest Church is not providing housing options for interns at this time. Interns are responsible for securing their own housing.
Are there age limits?
We invite anyone who is at least 18 years old to apply for any of our internship tracks.
How many hours per week are required?
Depending on the type of track you choose that will determine how many hours a week required. We have created a list of requirements that you will need to fulfill during each month so hours will vary from week to week depending on the internship track. On average, the monthly requirements will be between 40-60 hours. (Approximately 10-15 hours a week)
What does a typical week look like?
A typical week will include: a group meeting with your Director and other interns in the same track, plus serving in your ministry on Sunday mornings. Other tasks to be assigned by your Director.
Will I get a job at Harvest Church once I complete the program?
Interns could have the opportunity to apply and interview for staff roles after the completion of their internship if a position is available.
Is this a paid internship?
No.
Will I be credentialed as a Pastor upon completion of the program?
No.
Where will my internship be?
Harvest Church is a multi-site church within a 30-mile radius. All internships will be located between our Harvest Church campuses in Turlock, Ripon, and Modesto California.
Do I need to provide my own transportation?
Yes. You are responsible for your own transportation. We cannot provide transportation to and from your assigned location. You are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance on your own vehicle and having a current driver’s license.
Can I work outside of my internship?
Absolutely! We have built our internship around most applicants having a full-time job.
