Old Testament Survey

This historical survey of the Old Testament will cover Genesis to Malachi. This course focuses on the practical application of the Major Old Testament themes by exploring the cultural background as well as the theological and contextual perspectives. Old Testament Survey will bring deeper understanding of the Old Testament as the students explore, investigate, and examine God's written word in a new way.

New Testament Survey

This historical survey of the New Testament will cover Matthew to Revelation. This course focuses on the historical, social, economic, and religious background from which Christianity arose. Students will grasp the main themes and overall message from each book of the New Testament as it bears witness to God's Redemptive plan.

Life of Christ

This course take an in-depth look at the life and teaching of Jesus Christ as presented in the Gospels as well as early Christian literature. From the Messianic prophesy to Christ's ascension, and every teaching and miracle in-between, this course aims to take students into deeper relationship with Jesus Christ as they discover Him as Prophet, Priest and King.

Hermeneutics (Biblical Interpretation)

Hermeneutics is the study of Biblical Interpretation. This course focuses on the methods of biblical interpretation as well as problems that arise due to interpretation differences. This course will teach the students how to navigate through factors of presuppositions, grammar, literary and historical context as they explore the appropriate way to interpret the various kinds of literature found throughout the Bible.

Holy Spirit in the Now

This course teaches on the Biblical concepts and principles that reveal the person and work of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit in the Now focuses on the parallels of the dynamic ministry of the Holy Spirit in today's world.

Principles of Biblical Counseling

This course is designed to acquaint the student with a Biblically oriented approach to people-helping. Students will dive into the concepts and procedures of Biblical counseling, and be able to integrate the skills learned through this course into their own personal counseling style.

Ministry Practicum

Biblical Doctrines I

This course will explore the method and nature of doctrine in a Biblical perspective. Students will learn historical beliefs concerning the doctrine of Revelation, God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. While learning about various evangelical Christian perspectives, and with the introduction to the history of doctrine formulation, contemporary issues and "heresies" each student will be able to formulate his or her own doctrinal positions.

Biblical Doctrines II

This course does not require that the student first complete Biblical Doctrines I. This course will explore the method and nature of doctrine in a Biblical perspective. Students will learn historical Christian beliefs concerning the doctrines of humanity, salvation, the church, and the end times. While learning about various evangelical Christian perspectives, and with the introduction to the history of doctrine formulation, contemporary issues and "heresies" the student will be able to formulate his or her own doctrinal positions.

Signs and Wonders I

This course examines the place of miracles in the apostolic, historical and contemporary Church. Focusing on the Biblical basis for expecting and experiencing miracles, the students will learn the theological significance of Signs and Wonders.

Signs and Wonders II

This course does not require that the student first complete Signs and Wonders I. This course is focused on divine healing and the principals and patterns demonstrated by Jesus Christ and his disciples. Students are encouraged through this course to seek their own personal healing, as well as the healing of those close to them. Signs and Wonders II equips students to be God's instruments of healing fulfilling Jesus' mission to save the "whole" man - body, soul and spirit.

Ministry and Leadership Development

This course immerses the student in Biblical principles and methods for Christ-centered ministry and leadership. With tools that work both in the church and the secular world, students will find themselves growing spiritually as they develop and become equipped for effective ministry and leadership.

Sermon Preparation

This course is designed to explore the Biblical perspectives of preaching, principles of sermon construction, and sermon delivery. Students will learn how to properly interpret and present biblical material using basic communication skills and sound hermeneutics.
